High and narrow chalice
Striking on this glass is the very fine blown chalice with a beautiful thin edge. This combined with the shape of the calyx ensures that the aroma and bouquet of the wine are perfectly transferred. The characteristic feature of this glass is that the calyx is relatively high and narrow. Because of the high narrow shape of the chalice, the smells of all the grapes come together. Drawn stem
All glasses of the Authentis series have a 'pulled handle'. This means that the stem is pulled out of the calyx during the making of the glass. The stem and the chalice of the glass then consist of one whole, making the glass look even tighter.
