Characteristic whiskey glass
Riedel was asked to make a glass in which the very special characteristics of whiskey would come to the fore, and then mainly the single malt whiskey. In 1992 a group of experts went to test different glasses. Based on these findings, Riedel continued with his research. It resulted in this glass from the Sommeliers series: an elongated, thistle shaped glass on a short stem. The slightly folded edge leaves the whiskey on it tip of your tongue end up, so you can taste the sweetness and creamy taste. According to experts, the glass brings out the pure character of whiskey.
