The percolator 9090 is not only the first coffee maker in the Alessi collection, it was also the first to win many prizes and the first product to be included in the 'Permanent Design Collection' in the New York MOMA. The design came from Richard Sapper, a German industrial designer from 1932. He is one of the most important designers in his generation, thanks to his combinations of modern techniques and postmodern design .
Various formats
The percolator is available in various sizes, for a different number of cups of coffee. The smallest size is good for one cup, the largest size provides 10 cups . The other copies make 3 and 6 cups of coffee.
